HI EVERYONE!
One thing I've learned this summer - God is always on the move! Recently our 13 year old grandson told us that he went to heaven in a dream. He said he was falling from the heavens down to the earth when his body flipped and he was headed upward into the sky.  He had a what should have felt like a very abrupt landing.  He landed on his right knee onto a grassy area.  The impact was so hard yet he felt as if he landed on a cushion. He looked for a slight dent in the ground; he also looked to see if his leg was hurt even though he felt no pain.  No dirt on his knee either. Everything was untouched. When he stood up he noticed he was wearing armor - a breastplate, sword, etc. He then heard a voice say: "This is Heaven." He looked around this peaceful setting; everything had a glitter tone. The grass was greener than he had ever seen; the mountains were a shiny, sparkly gray. He felt great peace!  God is so good.  When we pray for our children, this is one of the results.  God speaks to our kids in marvelous ways. If Matthew never told me about it, I would have never known, but it doesn't really matter.  If we are praying for them, we can be assured that God is speaking to them. Hallelujah!
Matt also had the opportunity to volunteer at Ambassadors to the Nations ministry in Charlotte NC. They have established schools in Nicaragua and support thousands of children there. See below..

Pastor Scott and Michelle Barreto visited us recently. Pastor Scott had the awesome opportunity to minister at Both Pastor Dean Melton and Pastor Bobby Ray's Church. He also lead worship on that Sunday morning.  As Pastor Bobby would say: "He was off the chain!"
We were on the boat one evening and noticed that three young men were in the water and their canoe overturned. It was just getting dark and no other boats were out there. Thank You Jesus that we were there to rescue them! No one would see them once it got dark!  See pictures...

Al and I went to Pastor Dean's birthday party. Apparently he is a "cologne" man so guess what most of his gifts were? We had a blast. Then we attended Andrew Wommack's seminar in Flushing NY. There were 1,300 people in attendance!! Lots of prayer ministers and great message on the Grace of God!  Al also got to minister at our friends church in Moorseville called: Friday Night Church On The Lake!
